Very early, super hot and especially fast… the 2024 harvest in a nutshell
We started already in the early and dark morning hours with headlamps and wheelbarrows to take advantage of the cooler phases of the day. Due to extreme heat and temperatures well above 30 degrees, our grapes ripened at record speed. We were able to bring the majority of our grapes into the cellar within two weeks and thus just in time before the heavy rainfall. It was a very intensive harvest, but the quality is impressive. Great wines are now slumbering in our cellar for a few more months and can continue their development in peace.
